I really wish it were more widely known that Canada doesn’t have a stand your ground law. The only time you can legally use force is to defend yourself or a third party from physical harm or death and it has to be relatively proportionate. Dragging a stalker out of their hiding place and telling them in no uncertain terms to fuck off before you call for help might be covered under self defence for assault. Shooting them would probably not.

One of these days I’m gonna create a gang of Former Gifted Kids dealing with anxious perfectionism, avoidance of trying things we aren’t already good at, and the illusion that accomplishments only count if we attain them at an absurdly young age. I’ll get us some cool jackets.

Can the cool jackets be black? I’m flexible re: the cut.

penandwind: Idea for the jackets: have awesome phoenixes on them that say “burnt out” on it.

yes and yes

every single post that says its ok to not wear makeup has like nine hundred replies saying “actually some girls LIKE the inescapable, crushing demand that they expend their money, time, and energy concealing and altering their natural features to better mimic an artificial and unattainable standard!!! leg contouring is girl power”

Honestly if bowsette has taught me anything its that straight men can be openly horny for anything in mainstream video games and it will become a funny trend everyone hops on and won’t ruin the rep of that character, video game, or its fandom, but the second women and queer people do it, esp to an indie video game with queer characters in it everyone was looking for an excuse to hate on anyway, it all becomes #MegaCringe
