i was going through my old asriel art bc i thought i used to draw his eyes blue but apparently i always drew them brown, i just gave them a more reddish tint as time went by

laurence + dragon and a couple of round-the-world-trips later:
really did almost divide these sets up by mass ship appeal didnt they.
(im a bit surprised they split up the skelebros bc those two tend to be seen as a set? but sans and papyrus are both so popular individually, maybe its to increase the popularity of both sets. they are some of the breadwinners of the series, after all)
taps watch
(count downs make me anxious. just tell me whether or not there’s going to be an asriel/flowey plush. plz. plz)
I want to write a story about post-pacifist Frisk and Flowey where the relationship is complicated. Both are kids who have died multiple times.
I like to imagine a Frisk who… cares for and has some resentment for Flowey simultaneously. Flowey is a lost kid, like them, who has died multiple times, like them, and who has seen multiple timelines, like them.
I like to imagine a Frisk who has made horrible mistakes but gone back. A Frisk who Flowey has seen make horrible mistakes and has gone back. But still, Flowey considers them an amazing person anyway. Because they’ve seen these horrible things, still choose to go back and give everyone their happy ending.
Frisk who has anger issues and although they love their friends, there’s resentment about things they can never tell them about. Things people have done to them that have been lost in the timeline.
Both are traumatized kids, in different ways. They have become numbed to what death means to them, and have to learn to deal with permanency. The events of UT are a highscale schoolyard battle. Both love the adults in their lives, while simultaneously being resentful and feeling burdened by the fact they had to solve everyone’s issues and despite the fact they are children who should be taken care of, they know things they can never unburden.
Slowburn solving their issues with one another – Flowey’s codependency, Frisk’s martyrdom, and the events that went down during UT and resolving them. Frisk feeling upset about what Flowey did to them, but also understanding it, because they too have messed around with timelines, and both slowly becoming okay with normalcy in relationships of all kinds.
hmmmm……….. I Disagree.
(more seriously, and to make an Actual Serious Comment, this is about cops at pride and. regardless of whether you think cops are good or bad, there is no reason for them to be at pride when the community largely doesn’t want their involvement because of the extremely loaded history we share. it’s not like ‘if you’re a gay cop you can’t march!’ it’s, ‘if you’re a gay cop don’t march in uniform because you belong to a power structure that has given many members of the community trauma and ptsd and oppressed them historically’.
have i met a lot of evil cops? yeah. has every single fuckin cop ive met given me reason to think cops do not have my best interest do i think the power structure cops hold is inherently corrupt? yeah.
do i think, cops individually can be ok people? …yeah. but they’re fighting an uphill battle in an inherently corrupt institution that attracts people who abuse power. and my job isn’t to personally trust individuals from that and go ‘hey please walk all over me, pretend to be my friend and be around me despite the fact i hate you so very much!’
joshua, picking neku as his proxy: now here’s a people hating bastard that’ll definitely get the job done
joshua 3 weeks later watching that same boy cry for him and the friendship he thought they had, for all the people that were lost along the way: What The Fuck
yo do we ever talk about the fact that killuas just straight up fuckin insane
No, not enough. Gon takes all the credit for recklessness when really the only difference between the two is that Gon doesn’t weigh the risks before acting while Killua is all, “Welp, with this fabulous plan of mine, there’s only a 32.5% chance that I might die, no big. Totally worth it.”
“I’m also me and a fucking Zoldyck so p sure those statistics don’t apply tbw.” (lies)
