Warm-up before comic pages. Don’t hurt me again toby pls
I want to write a story about post-pacifist Frisk and Flowey where the relationship is complicated. Both are kids who have died multiple times.
I like to imagine a Frisk who… cares for and has some resentment for Flowey simultaneously. Flowey is a lost kid, like them, who has died multiple times, like them, and who has seen multiple timelines, like them.
I like to imagine a Frisk who has made horrible mistakes but gone back. A Frisk who Flowey has seen make horrible mistakes and has gone back. But still, Flowey considers them an amazing person anyway. Because they’ve seen these horrible things, still choose to go back and give everyone their happy ending.
Frisk who has anger issues and although they love their friends, there’s resentment about things they can never tell them about. Things people have done to them that have been lost in the timeline.
Both are traumatized kids, in different ways. They have become numbed to what death means to them, and have to learn to deal with permanency. The events of UT are a highscale schoolyard battle. Both love the adults in their lives, while simultaneously being resentful and feeling burdened by the fact they had to solve everyone’s issues and despite the fact they are children who should be taken care of, they know things they can never unburden.
Slowburn solving their issues with one another – Flowey’s codependency, Frisk’s martyrdom, and the events that went down during UT and resolving them. Frisk feeling upset about what Flowey did to them, but also understanding it, because they too have messed around with timelines, and both slowly becoming okay with normalcy in relationships of all kinds.
